These requests have led to the interim formation of the International Cooperation Development in Mathematics Education Discussion Group (ICDME). This conference forms part of ICDME’s plans to initiate a community in international cooperation development whose interest is in the realization of quality mathematics education as a public good for society. The content of my participation would be focused on a) ICDME, its formation and aims, b) TSG 61 and the ICDME-Tsukuba Conference 2022, a summary of the conclusions from the two conferences, and future plans.
